Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER)

The Montana Departments of Commerce and Public Health & Human Services announce the public comment period for the 2017-2018 Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER). The CAPER is available for public comment beginning June 14, 2018 through June 28, 2018. All comments must be submitted to Commerce no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 28, 2018. The CAPER will be available electronically at:, in hardcopy by request, or at select locations around the state. In addition, the Departments would like to invite you to participate in the public hearing for the 2017-2018 CAPER for program year April 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018. This public hearing will provide an overview of the CAPER requirements, affected programs, public participation process and report as well as solicit input from attendees regarding the report on the use of funds to assist communities with housing, infrastructure, and economic development. 

The CAPER public hearing will be on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at 301 S. Park Avenue, Room 228, Helena, MT. If you are unable to attend in person, a webinar has been set up to allow for distance participating in the public hearing. To register for the webinar, follow the link below, and sign up at least 15 minutes prior to the start. After registering you will receive a confirmation email with information about joining the webinar.
